- During the Christmas period the city of Kortrijk is decorated, illuminated, ice skating is possible and a Christmas market is organized.
- Kortrijk is a well known shopping centre, with a brand new mall, opened in spring 2010.
- The tournament organizers can assists those people wanting to visit other places in the vicinity (Bruges, Lille...).
