Number of games
- U19, U18, U16, U14 and U12-A: every team plays 2 games on 27th, 2 games on 28th and 1 game on 29th.
- WU12: every team plays 3 games on 28th and 2 games on 29th.
- U12-B and U10: each team plays 3 games.
Game length
Men Under 19: 4 x 10 minutes (stopped clock)
Men Under 18, Men Under 16, Men Under 12 (A category), Women Under 19, Women Under 16 and Women Under 14: 4 x 8 minutes (stopped clock)
Men Under 12 (B-category), Women Under 12 and Mixed Under 10: 4 x 5 minutes (stopped clock)
Criteria for ranking in a group
1. Number of victories.
2. In case of a same number of victories:
a. Two teams:
(1) Team that won the game between these two.
(2) Team with the best goal average (points scored minus points against).
(3) Team that scored the most.
(4) Team against whom the least points were scored after the 1st quarter, then the 2nd quarter, then the 3rd quarter. (all games together).
b. More than two teams:
(1) Team with the best goal average in the games amongst the teams with the same number of victories.
(2) Team that scored the most (all games together).
(3) Team against whom the least points were scored after the 1st quarter, then the 2nd quarter, then the 3rd quarter. (all games together).
Exceptions on FIBA rules
SPECIFIC GAME RULES AQUARIUS X-MAS TOURNAMENT 2019
All games during the AQUARIUS X-Mas Tournament will be played under the standing FIBA rules, with some exceptions. These exceptions are listed below:
Exceptions applicable in ALL age groups
- Time in between quarters: 1 minute
- Halftime rest: 5 minutes.
- In case of a tie after regular game time a sudden-death will be played. The rules are the same as for a regular overtime, except the playing time. The team scoring the first basket in the sudden-death wins the game. Scoring BOTH free throw(s) after a foul call counts as a scored basket. If only ONE free throw is awarded (technical foul), scoring this single free throw counts as a scored basket. (This article is not applicable in a game for the first and second place in an age group. In that particular case, a normal overtime of 5 minutes will be played)
Exceptions applicable in all, EXCEPT in MU19
- Playing time: 4×8 minutes, stopped clock.
- Fouls: a player is fouled out after FOUR individual fouls.
- Time Outs: One per quarter. Time outs cannot be transfered to a following quarter.
Exception ONLY applicable in the U14 competition
This may not be an excpetion to FIBA rules, but as every country has specific rules:
- MU14 teams play with ball size No 6 on high baskets (3.05m).
- WU14 teams play with ball size No 5 on high baskets (3.05m).
Sepcific rule for U12 and U10 competitions
- EVERY kind of zone defense, included zonepress, is forbidden. Every time a team applies a zone defense, a technical foul will be called against the coach.
REGLEMENT SPECIFIQUE AQUARIUS X-MAS TOURNAMENT 2019
Les rencontres pendant le AQUARIUS X-Mas Tournament seront disputées suivant les règles FIBA en vigueur, avec quelques exceptions. Vous les trouverez ci-dessous :
Exceptions d’application dans TOUTES les compétitions
- Temps entre les quarts: 1 minute
- Mi-temps: 5 minutes.
- Prolongation: un sudden-death sera disputé, suivant les règles d’une prolongation normale (sauf le temps de jeu). L’équipe qui marquera en première lors du sudden-death gagnera la rencontre. Marquer LES DEUX lancer francs après une faute compte comme un panier. Dans le cas où seulement UN lancer franc est accordé (faute technique),il suffit de marquer ce lancer franc pour gagner la partie.
Exceptions d’application dans toutes les compétitions, SAUF la compétition MU19
- Durée des rencontres : 4×8 minutes temps arrêté.
- Nombre de fautes : un joueur est éliminé après QUATRE fautes individuelles.
- Nombre de timeouts : Un par quart. Les timeouts doivent être pris dans le quart même (non transférables au quart suivant).
Exception UNIQUEMENT d’application dans la compétition U14
Ceci n’est peut-être pas vraiment une dérogation, mais comme chaque pays à des règles propres :
- les MU14 jouent avec le ballon No 6 (BALLON DAMES) sur panier haut (3.05m).
- Les WU14 jouent avec le ballon No 5 sur panier haut (3.05m).
Règle spécifique pour la compétition U12
TOUTE forme de défense en zone, y compris le press en zone, est interdite. Chaque fois qu’une équipe défend en zone, une faute technique sera sifflée contre le coach.
SPECIFIEK REGLEMENT AQUARIUS X-MAS TOURNAMENT 2019
De wedstrijden tijdens het AQUARIUS X-Mas Tournament worden gespeeld volgens de FIBA regels, met enkele uitzonderingen. Hieronder vindt u deze uitzonderingen:
Uitzonderingen van toepassing in alle competities
- Tijd tussen de quarters: 1 minuut.
- Halftime: 5 minuten.
- Verlenging: sudden-death. Ploegen blijven naar dezelfde kant spelen, volgens de regels van een normale verlenging. De ploeg die eerst een korf scoort wint. In geval van vrijworpen moeten BEIDE vrijworpen gescoord worden om de wedstrijd te beëindigen. Wanneer maar één vrijworp werd toegekend (technische fout) volstaat het deze ene vrijworp te scoren om de match te winnen. (deze regel is NIET van toepassing in een finale voor de 1e en 2e plaats)
Uitzonderingen van toepassingen in alle competities, behalve de MU19 Competitie
- Wedstrijdduur: 4 x 8 minuten.
- Persoonlijke fouten: speler is fouled out na 4 individuele fouten.
- Time outs: EEN per quarter. Niet genomen time-outs kunnen niet overgezet worden naar volgend quarter.
Uitzonderingen ENKEL van toepassing in de U14 Competitie
Dit is misschien niet echt een uitzondering, maar aangezien elk land eigen regels heeft:
- De MU14 teams spelen met een bal Nr 6 (DAMESBAL) op hoge korven (3.05m).
- De WU14 teams spelen met een bal Nr 5 op hoge korven (3.05m).
Specifieke regel voor de U12 en U10 competities
ALLE vormen van zoneverdediging, inclusief een zonepress zijn verboden. Telkens een ploeg een vorm van zoneverdediging hanteert zal een technische fout tegen de coach gefloten worden.
